Many played a role in dramatic increase in College in the High School enrollment for Fall 2020

High School Programs and Educational Outreach in the office of Community and Educational Partnerships is happy to report that enrollments in our fall College in the High School online courses are double the enrollments of Fall 2019.

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, School Programs Associate Dean Deborah Shoemaker, Deans Ronalyn Wilson and Jonathan Ashdown, and Judith DiLorenzo, vice president for Academic Affairs, met with several area school superintendents to discuss what we could offer their students for this upcoming unprecedented school year. In addition, our online course offerings continue to be a popular option for local Catholic high school students and home schooled students seeking college courses before graduation.

None of this could have been accomplished without the tireless help of our campus partners, including: department chairs, faculty and staff who worked with us to meet course demand; Erin Hatter and Jason Degnan, who assisted us with all scheduling changes; Communications & Marketing for keeping our website updated; the Cashiers Office for processing scholarships and assisting with student concerns; Donna Hall in the Registrar’s Office, who worked around the clock to get all students registered, and Sue Agan in School Programs for answering all calls, emails, and tracking overall and school-specific registrations.

Thank you one and all!
